This is part of the effort to drum up support for the year-long tourism campaign, expected to bring an unprecedented number of tourists to the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The special stamps are intended to boost the on-going campaign of the Department of Tourism to awaken international interest on the various sights, sounds, and destinations that the Philippines has to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Postmaster General has been stated that a total of 39.850 such stamps will be circulated, and that they are printed by Amstar Inc. using imported watermark-free paper. Each of these attractive and very collectible stamps will be sold at PHP 10, and will be an opportunity for philatelists \u2013 rookie and experienced \u2013 to get their hands on a rare, limited edition stamp.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The colourful stamp will feature the official \u201cVisit Philippines 2015\u201d logo, the words \u201cVisit the Philippines year\u201d on the upper strip above the logo, and the country identifier \u201cPILIPINAS\u201d and the value \u201cP10\u201d in the lower strip below the logo. The stamp will measure 25mm in width by 50mm in height, and will consist of the colours dark Blue, cyan, yellow, red, white, and green.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">PHLPost has stated that the stamps are also a part of a campaign to promote the Philippine Tourism slogan \u201cIt\u2019s more fun in the Philippines\u201d.
