Key Rights Under PTR

  1. Mabuhay Travel provides all the necessary details about the package prior to the travel agreement.

  2. Mabuhay Traveller can travel at ease since there is always someone who is responsible for the proper performance of all the travel services in the deal.

  3. Mabuhay Travellers are given an emergency telephone number or information of a contact to get in touch with the travel agent.

  4. Mabuhay Travellers may transfer the package to another, on fair warning and possibly subject to additional costs.

  5. The fee of the package can only be increased if specific costs rise. If the fee rise exceeds 8 % of the rate of the package, Mabuhay Travellers have the right to dismiss the deal.

  6. If any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are changed significantly, Mabuhay Traveller have the right to terminate the contract without any cancellation charge and get a full refund.

  7. Mabuhay Traveller may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee prior to departure in the event serious security problems at the destination which will affect the package.

  8. Furthermore, Mabuhay Traveller may at any time prior departure terminate the contract and get an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.

  9. If, during the holiday, any elements of the package cannot be provided, suitable alternative arrangements will be offered to the traveller at no extra cost. Mabuhay Traveller may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee, if any services are not performed as expected and the organiser fails to remedy the problem.

  10. Mabuhay Traveller are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages where the services are not properly performed.

  11. Mabuhay Traveller will be provided with assistance when in difficulty.

  12. If the organizer or, in some Member States, the retailer becomes bankrupt, payments would be reimbursed. If the organizer or, where appropriate, the retailer becomes bankrupt after the beginning of the contract and if transport is incorporated in the deal, return of the tourists is protected.
